Hadith About Rights Of Neighbours 1. ہمسائے کے حقوق کے بارے میں احادیث
Narrated Aisha: I said, O Allah's Apostle! I have two neighbors and would like to know to which of them I should give presents. He replied, To the one whose door is nearer to you.

Abu Huraira said (to his companions), Why do I find you averse to it? By Allah, I certainly will narrate it to you.

Book: Sahih Bukhari, Chapter: Pre- Emption, Hadees No. 2259ہم سے عبداللہ بن مسلمہ نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے امام مالک رحمہ اللہ نے، ان سے ابن شہاب نے، ان سے اعرج نے، اور ان سے ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا، کوئی شخص اپنے پڑوسی کو اپنی دیوار میں کھونٹی گاڑنے سے نہ روکے۔ پھر ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہا کرتے تھے، یہ کیا بات ہے کہ میں تمہیں اس سے منہ پھیرنے والا پاتا ہوں۔ قسم اللہ! اس کھونٹی کو تمہارے کندھوں کے درمیان گاڑ دوں گا۔

Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should not hurt (trouble) his neighbor.
Book: Sahih Bukhari, Chapter: The Wedlock, Hadees No. 5185It is narrated on the authority of Abu Huraira that the Messenger of Allah (may peace and blessing be upon him) observed: He will not enter Paradise whose neighbour is not secure from his wrongful conduct.
Book: Sahih Muslim, Chapter: Faith, Hadees No. 172ہم سے اسحٰق بن نصر نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے حسین جعفی نے بیان کیا، ان سے زائدہ نے، ان سے میسرہ نے ان سے ابوالحازم نے اور ان سے ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ جو شخص اللہ اور قیامت کے دن پر ایمان رکھتا ہو وہ اپنے پڑوسی کو تکلیف نہ پہنچائے۔

Book: Sahih Muslim, Chapter: Faith, Hadees No. 172The Hadith about neighbours highlights the rights of the people living around you. An epitome of piety, the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) has guided the humanity to the path of Allah Almighty through His (ﷺ) practical examples. While there are several Ahadees about the rights of neighbours, a couple of them are being quoted here.
The Holy Prophet (May peace of blessing of Allah be upon Him) commanded to give good treatment to the neighbours and forbade to tease/hurt them. Once He (ﷺ) commanded that we should not prevent our neighbour from fixing a peg (for hanging clothes, etc.) in our wall. (Hadees No. 2463, Sahih Bukhari, Chapter: Al-Mazalim)
On another occasion, Allah’s Last Messenger (ﷺ) has been narrated as saying, “Hazrat Gibrael kept on stressing upon me about treating the neighbors in a kind and polite manner, so much so that I thought that he would order (me) to make them (my) heirs (and get share in inheritance).”
The Noble Quran about the Rights of Neighbours:
Who deserves good treatment after your parents, relatives, orphans, and the needy? The following verse of the Noble Quran (i.e. verse 36, chapter 4) gives the answer and makes everything clear to you.
وَاعْبُدُوا اللَّهَ وَلَا تُشْرِكُوا بِهِ شَيْئًا ۖ وَبِالْوَالِدَيْنِ إِحْسَانًا وَبِذِي الْقُرْبَىٰ وَالْيَتَامَىٰ وَالْمَسَاكِينِ وَالْجَارِ ذِي الْقُرْبَىٰ وَالْجَارِ الْجُنُبِ وَالصَّاحِبِ بِالْجَنبِ وَابْنِ السَّبِيلِ وَمَا مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَانُكُمْ ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ مَن كَانَ مُخْتَالًا فَخُورًا
Translation: “Worship Allah and associate nothing with Him, and to parents do good, and to relatives, orphans, the needy, the near neighbor, the neighbor farther away, the companion at your side, the traveler, and those whom your right hands possess. Indeed, Allah does not like those who are self-deluding and boastful.”
Here the believers have been commanded to show good behavior and kind treatment to “the near neighbor, the neighbor farther”.
