Hadith About Taking Care The Orphans یتیموں کی پرورش کے بارے میں
Narrated Sahl: Allah's Apostle said, I and the one who looks after an orphan will be like this in Paradise, showing his middle and index fingers and separating them.
Book: Sahih Bukhari, Chapter: Divorce, Hadees No. 5304Abu Huraira reported that Allah's Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) said: One who looks after the orphan whether he is his relative or not, I and he would be together in Paradise like this, and Malik (explained it) with the gesture by drawing his index finger and middle finger close together.
Book: Sahih Muslim, Chapter: Zuhd and Softening of Hearts, Hadees No. 7469ہم سے عمرو بن زرارہ نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ ہم کو عبدالعزیز بن ابی حازم نے خبر دی، انہیں ان کے والد نے اور ان سے سہل رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ میں اور یتیم کی پرورش کرنے والا جنت میں اس طرح ہوں گے اور آپ نے شہادت کی انگلی اور بیچ کی انگلی سے اشارہ کیا اور ان دونوں انگلیوں کے درمیان تھوڑی سی جگہ کھلی رکھی۔
Book: Sahih Bukhari, Chapter: Divorce, Hadees No. 5304اسحٰق بن عیسیٰ نے کہا : ہمیں امام مالک رحمۃ اللہ علیہ نےثور بن یزید سے حدیث بیان کی انھوں نے کہا : میں نے ابو غیث کو حضرت ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے حدیث بیان کرتے ہوئے سنا انھوں نے کہا : رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا : " یتیم کی پرورش کرنے والا اس کا اپنا ( رشتہ دار ) ہو یا غیر ہو میں اور وہ جنت میں اس طرح ہوں گے ۔ " پھر امام مالک رحمۃ اللہ علیہ نے انگشت شہادت اور درمیان انگلی ( کو ملاکر اس ) کے ساتھ اشارہ کیا۔

An orphan child has got an important place in Islam. There are multiple verses of the Noble Quran and Ahadees about orphans. Allah’s Messenger Hazrat Muhammad (May peace and blessings of Allah be upon Him) laid great stress on the good treatment and being kind to orphans.
In a Hadees about orphans, narrated by Hazrat Abu Hurayrah(May Allah be pleased with him), the Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) said: "The best house among the Muslims is one which contains an orphan who is well treated, and the worst house among the Muslims is one which contains an orphan who is badly treated."(Al-Tirmidhi, Hadith 4973)
On another occasion (Sahih Bukhari, Chapter: Divorce, Hadees No. 5304), the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) has been narrated as saying that a person looking after an orphan would be as closer to Him (ﷺ) in the Paradise as the index and middle fingers.And there are multiple Ahadees with the same content.
Verse of Noble Quran about Orphans:
While several Ahadees promise great rewards for treating the orphans with kindness, there are many verses of the Glorious Quran with the same message. Allah Almighty has commanded the believers to spend for the welfare of orphans. The verses 177, 215, and 220 of Chapter 2 (Surah Al-Baqarah) are particularly notable in this regard.
يَسْأَلُونَكَ مَاذَا يُنفِقُونَ ۖ قُلْ مَا أَنفَقْتُم مِّنْ خَيْرٍ فَلِلْوَالِدَيْنِ وَالْأَقْرَبِينَ وَالْيَتَامَىٰ وَالْمَسَاكِينِ وَابْنِ السَّبِيلِ ۗ وَمَا تَفْعَلُوا مِنْ خَيْرٍ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ بِهِ عَلِيمٌ (2:215)
Translation: “They ask you, [O Muhammad], what they should spend. Say, "Whatever you spend of good is [to be] for parents and relatives and orphans and the needy and the traveler. And whatever you do of good - indeed, Allah is Knowing of it."
