Do you know the cases of hunger stood at a staggering 925 million people in 2010? It means for every 7 individuals, at least 1 individual is in dire need of food items and facing malnutrition stemming from poor financial background. Some people place hands on stomach due to over satiation. On the other hand, there are people who put hands on their empty stomach due to extreme hunger and poverty.
The Holy Prophet (PBUH) used to make Dua for protection against disbelief and poverty. Once he also said, “Poverty is very likely to lead to Kufr (disbelief)”. So, to combat the major issue of poverty, you should always keep on making Dua for Rizq and Rizq Me Barkat.
Another way to bring an increase in the provision of food (Rizq) is to spend on the poor. Meanwhile, it is also an obligation to provide the hungry with food, as seen from the Hadith: “An individual is not a believer who eats to his fill while his neighbour remains hungry.” Similarly, the need to feed the poor and the needy has been mentioned several times in the Noble Quran.
When you provide food to the poor, they will pray for you from the very core of their heart. Their prayer can be taken as a Dua for Rizq and Rizq Me Barkat. However, you should also keep on making Dua for this purpose. In this way, you will get closer to Allah Almighty and He will shower his blessings on you.
