The best Dua for students is the last part of verse 114 from the chapter 20 of the Holy Quran, i.e. “رَّبِّ زِدۡنِیۡ عِلۡمَاَ”. It is the Sunnah prayer or Masnoon Dua for students. While reciting this Arabic verse, you are saying to Allah, “O my Lord, (I beseech you) to increase me in knowledge”.

You can have an idea about the importance and effectiveness of this Dua from the fact that Allah Almighty Himself advised Prophet Muhammad (SAW) to recite this prayer to increase knowledge. Just make it your habit to recite this Dua for students silently whenever and wherever possible.

Here is another beautiful Dua for students in Quran. Open chapter 87 of the Noble Book and recite verse 6 along with translation. The verse “سَنُقۡرِئُكَ فَلَا تَنۡسٰٓىۙ‏” can be translated as “We shall make you recite and then you will not forget”.

According to a Hadith, narrated by Hazrat Abdullah bin Abbas, the Prophet (Peace be Upon Him) used to repeat the words of the Noble Quran lest He should forget them. In another Hadith, it is said that the Prophet (Peace be Upon Him) would start rehearsing (repeating) the initial verses of the revelation even before Hazrat Gibrail (AS) finished its recitation lest he should forget them. On this very basis, Allah Almighty assured the Rasool (SAW) that he should listen the revelation quietly without the fear of forgetting it. So, being follower of the Rasool (Peace be Upon Him), if a learner recites it as a Dua for students, both their memory and intelligence shall be improved.
